“Kravitz still has a knack for finding good wines at great prices” – Robert Parker, Parker on Wine, BusinessWeek, 8/20 & 27, 2007

Val Auclair

Val Auclair is situated some 1,200 feet above sea level in the Vallée du Paradis, southeast of the ancient city of Carcassonne, in the heart of Corbières. Nestled among Cypress trees, pines, and the Mediterranean garrigue, the domaine is home to century-old Carignan and 50+ year-old Grenache and Macabeo vines that are among the highest vineyard plantings in the area. Parcels are vinified separately to reflect each vineyard’s unique terroir, and through low yields and a commitment to sustainable agriculture, produce wines with remarkable balance, freshness, finesse, and a true sense of place.
