Spada is made by Bodegas Fariña, pioneer and venerated producer of Toro wines since 1942. Manuel Fariña has run the business since the 1960's, and was instrumental in establishing Toro as a premier Spanish wine region. His son Bernardo, 3rd generation winemaker and current enologist at Fariña, continues the proud tradition of quality.
