Description
Arnaud Combier has been a long-time fixture in the natural wine scene in southern Burgundy and Beaujolias, beginning with his first richly-textured, no-sulfites Saint-Véran bottlings more than twenty years ago.
Today, he collaborates with like-minded, organic growers on an exciting new lineup of wines from the Mâconnais, Beaujolais, and beyond.
Saint-Amour is the cru of love, with wines that are both delicate and wild. Beautiful and delicate red fruits, with an intensity. This small parcel in Saint-Amour is named “La Folie”.
Tasting Notes: A brilliant purple colour, with crisp aromas of black cherries and blackberries. Unctuous and delicate, itrevealssuperblengthwithfinesse.
Serve With: Excellent on its own, with a wide range of charcuterie, and dishes like Peking duck and Char Siu pork. Can be enjoyed with a slight chill.
