Description
Chateau Haut Maurin was purchased by the Sanfourche family in 1917, and is currently managed by Jean-Louis Sanfourche, fourth generation winegrower at the estate. Situated on the right bank of the Garonne, just 3 miles northeast of Cadillac, the estate is comprised of nearly 78 acres of vines in and around the village of Donzac. Vines are planted in clay/limestone soils with gravelly outcrops on hillside sites. This wine is made with sustainable growing practices.
Tasting Notes: A classic Bordeaux white, Haut Maurin Sauvignon Blanc, with zesty citrus character, aromas of white fruit/white flowers, fresh cut grass, and a characteristic mineral note.
Serve With: Enjoy as an aperitif or with your favorite fish and shellfish.
