Henri Jacqueson planted his first vines in 1946 and was instrumental in establishing Rully as a high‐quality appellation. Now run
by his grand‐daughter Marie, the Jacqueson domaine is recognized among the very best in the Côte Chalonnaise.
Tasting Notes: Ripe, red cherry character, with delicate oak and sous‐bois aromas. Well‐structured, with intense fruit and firm tannins on the palate.
Serve With: Excellent with rich cheeses and hearty baked dishes such as roast chicken with cream sauce and shepherd’s pie.
