Jeff Carrel — Les Darons 2021

Description

Grenache and Carignan have long been cultivated in Southern France and represent the “forefathers” of the Languedoc Appellation’s red wines. Les Darons is an homage showcasing these classic varietals. Named after the forefather grapes, “Les Darons” is the affectionate term for “The Parents” in the Parisian suburbs where winemaker, Jeff Carrel was born.

Tasting notes: Les Darons is an accessible wine with loads of character. Packed with ripe, red and dark fruit aromas, this Languedoc red has plenty of spice and a streak of underlying minerality.

Serve with: Enjoy this classic, unoaked red with a wide range of everyday meals.
