Description

This delicious bottling from Mercurey is crafted by Henri Jacqueson. He planted his first vines in Burgundy in 1946 and was instrumental in establishing Rully as a high‐quality appellation. Now run by his grand‐daughter Marie, the Jacqueson domaine is recognized among the very best in the Côte Chalonnaise.

Tasting Notes: A ripe and well‐balanced Mercurey, loaded with fleshy, red and black cherry fruit. A wine of great purity and balance, with intense fruit and firm tannins on the palate leading to a long, fresh finish.

Serve With: Enjoy with cheese and charcuterie boards, braised lamb shank in red wine sauce, Osso Buco, and more…
